We had an alarm system fitted in our home after a number of break ins in our neighbourhood.
We had recently decorated and had the walls plastered and painted, however the engineer did not have to cable all of the detectors as it was a wireless system so there was no mess or disruption. He was in and out in one day and spent time showing my husband and I how to use the alarm.
We had special 'pet detectors' fitted to allow our small dog the use of most rooms in the house while we were out. We can also partially set the system at night time when we go to bed so feel very safe in the knowledge that the alarm is on while we are sleeping. We also had Police monitoring installed so if someone does break into the house the Police will come out and hopefully catch him!
