Effective fire detection and alarm systems are a key component of fire risk management for any commercial, public or multi-occupancy premises, as the consequence of fire can be devastating.
 
Black Box Fire & Security offer a range of different methods of fire detection to suit the individual requirements of the protected building. Systems can also be connected to our Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC), providing 24-hour Fire Brigade response. 

All fire alarm installations are certified in respect of design, installation and commissioning, a fundamental requirement of BS589-1: 2002 + A2: 2008.
 
The Fire (Scotland) Act 2005 seeks to ensure safety in the event of fire by setting out the rights and responsibilities of the responsible person. It is very important to be aware of and understand your legal rights and obligations concerning fire safety.
